BIOGRAPHY
Fabien Novarino, painter, sculptor, plastic artist, French photographer, born in 1963 began his career in 1990.
He started painting very young but from his adolescence, he was also interested in photography. He took his first pictures at the age of 12 and trained in the black and white laboratory. He takes part in numerous exhibitions and amateur competitions.
At the beginning of the 80s, while studying literature in Paris, he worked as a freelance for the agency Vandystadt which disseminated his images of sport and entertainment. He was hired as a gunner in a minute laboratory. Then, he was hired as a studio operator specializing in advertising and industrial photography. His career as a painter taking off, he abandoned photography for a time to devote himself to pictorial works inspired by the Provencal hinterlands then urban themes which gave him an international dimension.
In 2010, bringing together his two passions, painting and photography, his work turned to a painted photo montage work which confirms its status and continues to be collected worldwide.
In 2020, alongside these creations; he is developing a collection solely composed of photographs. This work, made of transparencies, superimpositions and contrasts, evokes the themes that are dear to him: the urban, travel, female characters and the abstract. His images printed in high definition on Chromaluxe are presented in numerous salons in France and abroad.
Puis, il est engagé comme opérateur de studio spécialisé dans la photographie publicitaire et industrielle. Sa carrière de peintre prenant de l'essor, il délaisse un temps la photo pour se consacrer à des œuvres picturales inspirées des arrières pays provençaux puis des thèmes urbains qui lui offrent une dimension internationale.
En 2010, réunissant ses deux passions, peinture et photographie, son œuvre s’oriente vers un travail de montage photo peint qui confirme son statut et continue d'être collectionné dans le monde entier.
En 2020, en parallèle des ces créations; il développe une collection uniquement composée de photographies. Ce travail fait de transparences, de surimpressions et de contrastes, évoque les thèmes qui lui sont chers: l'urbain, le voyage, les personnages féminins et l'abstrait. Ses images sont présentées dans de nombreux salons et galeries en France et à l'étranger.
